The System Development Department of the Computer and Automation Research Institute (SZTAKI) was formed in 2000 to concentrate the development resources of the Informatics Division. The research and development activity of the System Development Department focuses mainly on innovative software technologies of the internet. The department is primarily financed by contract based projects with leading computing and telecommunication companies of the world. The people of the department are mainly young graduates and some of them are working part time at the department while they complete their university studies. The quality of the software produced by the department is guaranteed by the certified quality management system applied at the Institute, as well as by the experience and talent of the employees.
